Grapes: selected Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave grapes.
Production zone: the slopes of the hills to the north of the village of Soave, which extend into the Lessini Mountains to the north. The soil is clay, sometimes gravel.
Tasting notes: Golden yellow with golden reflections. The nose shows a kaleidoscope of vinous aromas, from intense peachy fruit to honey. The palate is full of character, full-bodied but with a soft, velvety texture. An orchestral harmony of flavours.
Vinification and aging: the grape bunches are partially dried then de-stemmed before gentle pressing. A slow and long fermentation follows in small oak barrels.
Alcohol: 13,5% vol.
Food pairing and serving temperature: with desserts or dry pastries, but also as an accompaniment to the cheese-board served with honey or fruit preserves. Generally served at the end of a meal or even on its own in the company of friends. It should be served in small, tulip glasses at a temperature of 12-14°C.
