Valpolicella Area

Valpolicella Classico Superiore D.O.C.

Grapes: Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara.

Production zone: from sunny hillsides in the classical Valpolicella area to the North of the city of Verona.

Tasting notes: deep red colour with a warm, vinous nose that brings to mind red fruits, cherries in particular, in harmonious balance with the spicy notes of the wood aging. The palate is intense, well-rounded and persistent.

Vinification and aging: selected grapes are crushed and the skins undergo a prolonged maceration to extract the maximum flavour. The wine is then fined in oak casks and matured in bottle for several months before release.

Alcohol: 13,5% vol.

Food pairing and serving temperature: recommended as a pairing with rich meat dishes, full-flavoured cured meats and mature cheeses. Decant in good time and serve at a temperature of 16 -18 °C in large glasses.

Available in formats: 0,75 lt. Bordeaux bottle
