Grapes: Corvina and Rondinella.
Production zone: From the hills of Colognola and the slopes of the valley of Tregnago.
Tasting notes: A deep, red colour which stains the glass. The nose shows characteristic and intense perfumes of red fruits, ripe cherry in particular. The palate is sweet, well-rounded and full-bodied.
Vinification and aging: After the required, extended period of drying under controlled conditions, the carefully selected grapes are fermented in January, according to tradition. The wine is then partially fined in oak for one year.
Alcohol: 13% vol.
Food pairing and serving temperature: Its sweetness makes it the ideal end to a dinner to accompany desserts, pastries or the classic Veronese cake, Pandoro. Particularly suited with dark chocolate and chocolate based desserts. Serve in large glasses at a temperature of 16-18°C.
