Grapes: Corvina and Rondinella.
Production zone: the hilly area to the North of the town of Colognola ai Colli.
Tasting notes: it shows a robust, red colour with garnet reflections. On the nose it has perfumes of ripe cherries in harmony with characteristic balsamic notes.
Vinification and aging: selected grapes are given an extended maceration to extract the maximum flavour. Aging takes place partly in wood to refine the characteristics of the wine.
Alcohol: 13% vol.
Food pairing and serving temperature: it suits being paired with elaborate meat dishes, full-flavoured cured meats and very mature cheeses. It is recommended to decant it prior to serving in large glasses at a temperature of 16-18° C.
