Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon and/or Cabernet Franc.
Production zone: the hilly area around the town of Lonigo.
Tasting notes: a deep ruby-red colour tending towards brick red with amber reflections on aging. The perfume is pleasant, intense and characteristic of the varieties. The palate is dry and robust with well-balanced tannins.
Vinification and aging: fermentation takes place on the skins for 10-15 days, followed by fining in oak casks of small to medium capacity.
Alcohol: 13% vol.
Food pairing and serving temperature: a good accompaniment to roasted red meats, grilled meats, game dishes and mature cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 16-18° C.
