Grapes: Marzemino.

 

Production zone: from the clay soils of the Padova province.

 

Tasting notes: a lovely, lively red colour with an intense nose and notes reminiscent of violets. Well-rounded, soft and velvety on the palate.

 

Vinification and aging: soft pressing is followed by maceration on the skins for 8 days and a temperature controlled fermentation.

 

Alcohol: 12% vol.

 

Food pairing and serving temperature: the ideal accompaniment to pasta dishes with rich sauces such as lasagna and lightly flavoured main dishes such as pork or light roasted meats. Excellent also with medium strength cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 12-14° C.
